I had no idea, but according to my friend from summer camp and local DC news personality Josh Rosenthal, Ol d Bay hot sauce is a thing, and it is good.

NO, the most “Maryland thing ever” is the waitress at the diner calling you “ ‘Hon ” when she asks you if you want Old Bay Hot Sauce to put on your Blue Crab Crabcake, which weighs 18 ounces, as you wash it down with a Natty ‘Bo beer.

interesting - I like the original sriracha, but I like the normal old bay seasoning too. I like the less tangy ones in general, (Tabasco and some of the Frank’s types are a bit too tangy for me...) I gotta try some of that.

Don’t forget the part where she calls you an ambalamps after you choke on the loonium fohl wrapper of the crayb cake.

Pro Tip: The Old Bay Hot sauce that sold out online in less than an hour is easily replicated with Franks Red Hot Sauce and a mix of Blackened and regular Old Bay. (McCormick owns both brands, and that’s the actual recipe)
Awesome clip, with the vodka-hot sauce shot on the news!!!!

The bottle of Tito’s under the desk is perfection. So is the lady anchor’s comment: “put a little of that “water” in there Jim”

It’s kinda hard to find. But my local Walmart finally has it. Altho online it says * limited stock*. I had to order it off Amazon the first time I got it.
